Happy New Year!

Happy New Year friends!! I'm always behind on New Years resolutions. As my kids head back to school I wanted to catch up with you this morning. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that you are setting yourself up for a really good year. 2025 was one of those years for our business where I am simply so happy and grateful to have not closed our doors. I have you to thank for this! And because of that I'm not going to waste this year away. I have plans of leaning in to a few things in 2026 for our small business. Here's my little list :

1. Family comes first for me. My kids are all at the age where they want to get creative themselves when it comes to the wax. I'm over the moon about this because now I can combine my quailty time with work and make magic with my children! My daughter is right in the middle of making some witchy melts for her Harry Potter themed birthday in a couple weeks. There will definitely be extras availble soon!

2. Donation melts! I've started making our donation melts again. This time donating to our local food bank and homeless shelter. These are hard times for everyone and its so so important that when things get tough, we take care of each other. It's not a lot coming from a very small batch, one woman business. But I'm happy to be able to put my labor towards something good. We still have some donation melts in the scents Peach + Mango and Blackberry Sugared Violets if you'd like to grab a few!

   
   

   

3. Offering more box sets! I thrived when creating themed sets for our monthly subscription boxes. Creatively I work best when I'm able to make all the crazy wax melt ideas in my mind. And even though we didn't have the demand for monthly boxes I plan on making things really fun for us and with ready to ship extras for each box set. We've got big plans for Valentine's Day this year! Stay tuned!

4. I'll be making cat themed melts to keep the food flowing for my furbabies this year! Last year we went from one sweet dog baby to a family of 10! With my husband and I, our four kids, our dog (Sage), two guniea pigs (Cowboy and Joey) and our surprise stray kitten (Robin). I never thought we would end up with so many pets but there's a lot of love to go around in our household right now and I have to work hard to maintain it. So if you loved our cat themed box set we did years ago, you can look forward to more of those in the near future. I really have to thank everyone who supported me in rescuing this kitten out of the blue! It slowed me down quite a bit for the first month. I was kitten proofing my house for weeks and scrambling to find the funds for everything he needed. But so many of you bought melts and even sent him toys and food! Even to this day I am in disbelief of how amazing you all are!

All that to say my plans are not big ones for 2026! I quite like my little life. And I'm just grateful to be able to create for you and be at home with my loved ones. I hope to keep writing you once or twice a month. Would love if you wrote back with your thoughts and your plans for 2026
